04. Load in / Load out logistics
For Soul Real Market events, when accepted, you will receive specific instructions from the official Soul Real Market email (soulrealmarket@gmail.com). It is important that you review the instructions prior to market day to ensure setup and breakdown are smooth and efficient. Event details will vary by venue, but here is some general information that applies to all events.

Arrive 10-15 minutes early and plan accordingly. If there is a load-in schedule, make sure you arrive on time, especially for bigger events with many vendors.

When unloading, ensure your vehicle is locked at all times to ensure safety for all vendors and market staff.

If you have a canopy, it is recommended to set that up first before the rest of your equipment and inventory. Ensure that all canopies are set up with canopy weights (see 01. Equipment for more details).

Refer to email instructions regarding parking (varies by venue).

Be considerate of other vendors when setting up and lend a helping hand if you finish setting up early.
Load In
Pro Tip: Having a utility wagon will make transporting all equipment and merchandise so much easier!
Load Out

Do not pack up prior to the scheduled time the market ends. Packing up early disrupts the market experience for both customers and vendors.

Go through your checklist when packing up to make sure you don't leave any merchandise, equipment, or personal belongings behind.

Pick up all trash in your booth/section before you leave.
